More Stuff About Me...And Video Games

I hate being so self-focused on the blog this week. But I'll make this brief. Last night I was invited once again to guest host on the Video Game Outsiders.

First of all, it is a complete honor to be doing this. Kyle, John and Michelle's show has been one of my own long-running listening favorites. So doing VGO is a bit of fan heaven for a man doing a little marketing podcast. But more than that, I'm honored that they feel like I fit in on the program. There's definitely a good rapport and I enjoy it immensely. And it's not totally off BeanCast-like topics, considering I'm always bringing up the marketing perspective of the video game industry on the show.

I should mention that this is also a big turning point in the show's history. My two week's running have been their first two shows going completely live. So if the audio sounds a little echoing and rough, have some patience. The show has enjoyed a much different quality control luxury in the past. The live thing is all new and while very cool (Allgames.com is one of the most listened-to video game networks around) it has a host of challenges.

But that aside, the discussion was great last night and the show is finding new energy from both the live chat and live calls. This is definitely the premiere video game podcast available today.
